Check a pinball room and transport space

Model measurements come from the records below. Room, doorway and clearance defaults are a hypothetical example. Replace them with your measurements.

Room measurements, in selected units
Doorway, play-space and vehicle details

Default door and space values are an example. Optional blank route or vehicle dimensions remain unknown.

Print calibration: the line below must measure 100 mm at actual size.

Stern Premium / LE manual, specification page 64

Maximum assembled height with leg levelers extended. Use this manual's imperial figures as one complete record. A separate sales flyer gives different size and weight figures; confirm the exact delivered machine. No folded-head dimensions are inferred.

Stern Jurassic Park Pro edition sales sheet

Published unboxed sales-sheet dimensions; differs from the Premium / LE manual. Keep editions and documents separate and confirm the exact machine before delivery.

AtGames Legends Pinball HD, approximate product size

Assembled W × D × H
22 × 44 × 60 inches
Assembled weight
Unknown
Transport record
Unknown; no disassembly dimensions inferred.

AtGames Legends Pinball HD product features

Maker lists approximate 60 × 44 × 22-inch size, normalized as height × depth × width. A rough room screen only. No 4KP or Micro compatibility is implied; weight and transport state are unknown.

Manual worksheet: required room width = cabinet width + left + right allowance. Required room depth = cabinet depth + front + rear allowance. Spare room height = room height − cabinet height. For a 90-degree orientation exchange width and depth. Doorway screen compares selected-state width and height plus twice the handling margin to measured clear opening. A straight approach must have at least the selected-state depth plus twice the margin. A blank route field means unknown. Vehicle checks compare each selected-state bounding dimension with the opening and usable cargo box, not cargo volume. No turning, stair, tilt, payload or lifting approval.

A pass covers the entered straight-clearance measurements only. Plan corners, stairs and handling from the exact model instructions. Check the rated floor support and vehicle payload separately.

Pinball machine dimensions need a physical state beside them. A playing machine with legs and backbox in place has a different bounding shape from a shipping box. Use the matching record for each question. Do not infer a folded size by subtracting part of the assembled height.

Measure the room, clear doorway and any vehicle opening in the units you choose. Keep the exact source record visible. The checker handles a rectangular room and upright straight clearances only. It reports missing route or transport figures as unknown. It does not approve lifting, folding, vehicle payload, stairs or a turn through a hallway.

Compare pinball machine dimensions by document

The tool keeps three source records separate. One is Stern's Jurassic Park Premium / LE manual. Another is the Pro sales sheet. The third is AtGames' approximate Legends Pinball HD product size. These are fit examples, not interchangeable descriptions of one standard cabinet.

The Premium / LE manual lists a maximum assembled height with levelers extended. Its boxed figure is a separate record without a pallet. The Pro sheet gives a different unboxed size and weight. The source label stays in every result.

AtGames calls its Legends Pinball HD size approximate. That record can help with rough room planning. It does not supply a transport state or an exact clearance promise. The HD label also must not be replaced with Micro or 4KP without new source facts.

Measure the assembled room space

Measure usable width and depth where the machine will stand. Check ceiling height above the backbox. Add the space you want at the front for play and at the back for access. Use the exact maker's instructions if they require more room than your chosen gaps.

The calculation adds left and right gaps to the cabinet width. It adds front and rear gaps to cabinet depth. It then subtracts those totals from the room. The remaining height is the room height minus the assembled machine height. A negative result means that entered space budget does not fit.

The default room is a hypothetical example. Replace it before using the result for your home. The tool does not know about nearby furniture or a door that swings into the player space. Mark the complete space budget on the floor and walk around it as part of the room check.

Check pinball machine dimensions at the doorway

Use the clear opening with the door in the position you can actually use. A nominal door size is not enough. Measure the narrowest width and height under the trim. Enter the straight approach depth as well. A wide opening does not settle a short or obstructed approach.

Choose assembled upright or the exact sourced boxed state. The chosen state controls the width and height used at the opening. The tool adds your handling margin on both sides. If a transport record is missing, that branch remains unknown even when the assembled room fits.

The 90-degree choice exchanges width and depth for a side-first upright screen. It does not tilt or rotate through an arc. A result cannot establish how a mover gets a machine around a corner. Keep a turning hall or staircase outside the scope of this simple checker.

Screen a vehicle opening and cargo box

Enter the usable cargo dimensions, not a published volume in cubic feet or liters. The tool needs width and length, plus height. It also needs the clear opening width and height. A cargo area can be large enough inside yet have an opening that is too small for the chosen state.

The opening result and cargo-box result stay separate. Each requires its own measurements. Leaving the opening blank does not turn an internal box pass into an overall vehicle approval. Keep the source's packaging state with the result so you do not compare an unboxed body with a boxed height.

Weight is shown where the source provides it. It does not establish vehicle payload or axle loading. This tool also supplies no restraint or loading instructions, nor a lifting method. A geometric pass is only a prompt to resolve those other transport questions, not permission to load a vehicle.

Resolve source conflicts before a close fit

Stern's retained manual and sales sheet give different figures. The Jurassic Park edition guide explains those records. The tool keeps them separate rather than selecting the smaller one to make a doorway pass.

If the fit is tight, confirm the actual unit and source with the seller or maker. Use manual measurements only for the exact physical state you have measured. The entry is not a maker-approved disassembly plan. Keep missing dimensions on the worksheet as unknown.

Keep the selected model and physical state with every measurement. A Premium / LE manual record and a Pro sales-sheet record describe different editions; neither supplies missing dimensions for the other.

Frequently asked questions

Are pinball cabinets all the same width?

No universal width is used here. Select an exact model and source record. Include protruding parts where they affect the bounding size. An approximate size can help with an early room sketch, but it is not enough to prove a tight doorway fit for a different machine.

Can I use the box size to plan folded-head transport?

Only as the boxed state the source actually names. It does not give a folded-head dimension or folding method. The tool makes no subtraction from assembled height to invent one. If the planned physical state differs from the source record, retain the transport result as unknown until measured or sourced.

Why does the room pass but the vehicle stay unknown?

They use different inputs. The room needs the assembled size and your space gaps. The vehicle needs a chosen sourced state plus opening and usable cargo-box dimensions. Missing vehicle fields remain unknown. A large published cargo volume cannot replace those individual clear measurements.

Does a passing result mean the move is safe?

No. It checks entered rectangular sizes and stated margins. It does not assess lifting or restraints, nor stairs or structural loads. A sourced weight does not approve a vehicle payload or a floor. Keep the matching maker guidance and a complete delivery arrangement separate from the geometry worksheet.

Verdict

Keep pinball machine dimensions tied to one edition and state at a time. Use the worksheet to expose missing route measurements, not hide them. Continue with the edition comparison or the pinball cost guide once the physical record is clear.
