New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS recently reminded us of our 2D gaming roots and more importantly also proved that side scrollers are still fun even in this world of polygons and first-person shooters. No doubt when you think of your favorite games of all time, at least for us older gamers, you likely have a few side scrolling classics in mind.
