E3 is back in a big way, and this year was the battle of the motion controllers and 3D tech. While Nintendo® was the first to prove that motion technology was viable to gaming with the release of the Wii™, Microsoft® and Sony® are attempting to raise the bar with their own versions of motion control...but have they succeeded?

The answer is yes and no. We'll break down both technologies and point out advantages and disadvantages versus the Wiimote™.
Related posts:

The excitement as usual is unbearable, what-oh-what will be revealed this year. We find it interesting that so little is known about any big announcements expected this year from anyone. Does this mean that there will be surprises of a major scale from all parties? A new Mario from Nintendo perhaps?

Let's revisit a rumor that we have been following closely for quite some time now that just doesn't go away...motion controlled gameplay on true next-gen consoles! The month of May has been blowing up with new information that leads us to believe (yet again) that it will finally be revealed this year. Follow along to see what the buzz is all about.
Related posts:

John D. from Playstation.Blog is pleased to announce that Bionic Commando is now available on the Playstation Network for only $9.95. Rearmed features updated graphics(as you may have noticed from the image to the left), new levels, and several other features. Special attention was made to retain the original Bionic Commando 2D side-scrolling feel, so old school gamers will love it as well.

For original Playstation fans, Street Fighter Alpha is also now available in the PSN store for $5.99. The game is just a port, but that shouldn't stop you fighting-game lovers out there.
