Any fighting genre aficionado, and really anyone who has any experience with videogames in general, will tell you that Soulcaibur is one of the best fighting games ever released. Both on Arcade and Dreamcast, the first Soul Calibur (second in the series after Soul Edge) turned the heads of millions of gamers when it launched back in 1998 in cabinet form. It was one of the first to introduce the Eight-Way Run and was a more forgiving gameplay experience than what Tekken or Virtua Fighter was able to offer. Now it’s back, this time on Xbox Live Arcade with a release date set for this summer.
