<Strike>Xbox</strike> Windows Live Arcade

Any gamer will tell you that nothing can compete with the Xbox 360’s online network known as Xbox LIVE®. It allows gamers around the world to play and communicate with each other as a world all it’s own. Now Microsoft® is extending LIVE® to the PC with Games for Windows™ – LIVE®. This new service brings together the most popular online console game service with the most popular games platform in the world.

Games For Windows™ Live has just gotten off the ground, but Xbox™ LIVE® Arcade, a key feature in the Xbox™ 360 feature set, is not yet part of the PC experience. But recently 1UP learned that Microsoft plans to rectify that next month as they will roll out a developer update for their Games For Windows Live tools in anticipation of Xbox™ LIVE® Arcade for Windows™ rolling out in holiday 07!

They did not, however, reveal what games will make the leap from Xbox™ 360 to PC. But if you don’t want to pay a mint to use your X-Arcade on the Xbox™ 360, there is always a possibility you will be able to play the great Xbox™ LIVE® Arcade games with your X-Arcade™ on your PC by the end of the year. Cross your fingers!
