The future is upon us and is telling us we need to get into digital downloadable content. As services like Gametap™, Steam™, and the XBOX™ Live Marketplace have proven, there is an audience for downloadable games on demand and it is growing. The new Nintendo® Wii™ and PS3 promise to expand it even more with a plethora of games available for download at launch, and as we reported recently the Phantom™ Game console Service is set to join the club. (although we suggest selling their stock short due to a complete inability to meet a single announced deadline.)
EB/Gamestop™ has wisely thrown its hat in the ring by launching its own on-demand service, available via the company websites. Prices range from $9.99 to $29.99, and with an extensive selection that leans toward casual and puzzle games. Take a look!
